The Cama - A Sabarmati Riverfront Hotel – Hotel near airport in Ahmedabad

The hotel is located at the Khanpur on the bank of the Sabarmati Riverfront, offering a blend of old and new Ahmedabad. Despite needing some maintenance work and a recent short circuit incident in our room, we were provided with fresh linen, upholstery, and curtains. The staff, except for the receptionists, were very friendly, but there was a slight expectation for tips. The dining experience, with a fantastic and large buffet spread, was delightful. However, the hotel lacks some standard facilities that may need improvement in the future.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were decent, and I enjoyed the spacious layout and the fair view of the river and lawn from my ground floor room. The service, aside from the reception, was kind and helpful, although one staff member came off a bit gruff. The hotel's location at the riverfront in Khanpur was scenic, albeit undergoing renovations, but still close to various top restaurants. The dining experience, particularly the buffet, was excellent with a wide range of options to choose from. Overall, a good value for money choice.

The service was lacking as housekeeping was rude and constantly seeking tips, which was unexpected from this well-known establishment. The location, facing Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, was great for tourists, though customer service could have been better.
